Wellness is whole body health
I’m an integrative mental health therapist committed to helping people achieve whole body wellness. My work focuses on identifying, treating, and resolving barriers and symptoms that interfere with a person's ability to reach full mental and physical potential.

Philosophy and Approach
Most people know what they "need" to do, but struggle to achieve their goals due to various emotional, physical and relational barriers.
My approach to treatment begins with a thorough assessment period to construct an accurate and targeted treatment plan. I take a solution-focused approach to therapy to maintain diligent focus toward goals and ensure clients are able to recognize and celebrate progress.
I use evidence-based treatment modalities to promote quality and outcomes proven by research. Although treatment modalities vary per individual, the primary modality I use is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. In my opinion, EMDR is a reliable and efficient modality for achieving maximum outcomes in a shorter period of time compared to other modalities.
The most profound change is sustainable change. This is why I place great importance on staying focused on client's treatment goals. Once symptoms are managed, a period of time will be spent establishing healthy routines and developing skills to encourage change that lasts a lifetime.
I am proud to serve adults, couples, and families in Waukee, Iowa and the greater Des Moines area.
Unfortunately, in order to meet the needs of current clients, I am temporarily not accepting new therapy clients.
